The successful partnership with Saxon Developments on redevelopment of the Hicking buildings Phase 1, has continued with Weedon Partnership llp’s appointment to design this prestigious mixed use scheme on the adjacent site.

The £28m plus scheme is located on one of the city’s major traffic arteries adjacent to Nottingham station. It comprises 350 one and two bed apartments with ground floor live work units and a basement car park level.

The development proposal opens up a previously concealed watercourse and aims to achieve excellent urban design through a high quality contemporary solution which draws on the influences apparent in the rhythm of the historic buildings occupying the site opposite.

Weedon Partnership llp gained planning approval for the scheme and construction is proposed to start in 2010 with Weedon Partnership llp to be novated to the Contractor for the detailed design stages.
