Automotive Production Facility, Thailand
for General Motors
This facility on the Eastern Seaboard Estate, Rayong, Thailand commenced on site in January 1997 and was completed in spring 1999.
In conjunction with Ove Arup Partnership, Weedon Partnership llp set up a Thailand office to administer and continue design development for the duration of the contract.
The overall development included:
- Press and body complex
- General assembly complex
- Utilities complex
- Paint Shop
- Central social facilities
- Administration Building plus all usual ancillary support facilities
