About UsWeedon Partnership was formed in 1939, by the late Harry Weedon. Following a rapid expansion, throughout the 1920's and 30's of a number and variety of commissions, in the fields of Housing, Commercial and Industrial Development, the growth of the practice was quickly guaranteed. A factory in Birmingham for Deutsch and Brenner was historically the most important of these commissions as it led to the design of one of the first cinemas for Oscar Deutsch. This established the well known Odeon house style, and in all The Partnership was involved in the design and construction of 300 Odeon Cinemas. Through links made with famous engineering firms during these early years, the Partnership later received many commissions from a host of companies working either directly or indirectly for the motor industry. Continued success was established and this has been maintained to the present day. Today Weedon Partnership is an award winning practice employing 30 staff that continue a tradition of contemporary architecture that is specific to both building owners and local surroundings, delivering services tailored specifically to our clients needs. The practice is founded upon the timeless principles of integrity, creative-thinking, design excellence and attention to detail. |
